Multipurpose Electrochemical Reactor for energy and environmental applications
The main objective of this project is to design a multi-purpose electrochemical reactor, i.e. one that has a configuration such that it can be easily adapted to different types of applications. Among other applications, flow batteries for electrical energy storage and capacitive deionisation for the treatment of water with high saline content have been identified. The project also includes the design of the reactor's auxiliary hydraulic, electrical and regulation systems to facilitate its correct operation in the different applications.
